AQSIQ said China's importers of these products have started takeing similar products off the shelf and bulk testing to ensure the safety of Chinese consumers.
Toluene, also known as methylbenzene or phenylmethane, is a clear, water-insoluble liquid with the typical smell of paint thinners, redolent of the sweet smell of the related compound benzene. It is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is widely used as an industrial feedstock and as a solvent. Like other solvents, toluene is also used as an inhalant drug for its intoxicating properties. Toluene will irritate skin and mucous membrane. There is narcotic effect on the central nervous system.
Ethyl acetate is colorless liquid has a characteristic, pungent smell (similar to pear drops) like certain glues or nail polish removers, in which it is used. This is the second time that government take measures to revive the Chinese consumer confidence in dairy products. Last Thursday, China had announced did not detect melamine in milk and dairy proudcts.
On Sunday, Xinhua News Agency reported that the Chinese quality inspection department sends 5,000 quality inspectors to dairy factories to re-build consumer confidence.
General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC announced the detection of 609 batches of samples collected from 27 cities, the results found no melamine.
Wang Yong, the director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision said that food safety is related not only to public health, but will also affect the survival of the business, so the government will do its utmost to ensure that all dairy products are safe.
A total of more than 10 countries from Asian and African have banned imports of dairy products from China. And several countries for fear of poison milk products go in the domestic market, have recalled these products before Wednesday. At the same time, the European Union made a ban on baby milk from China.

UK As a preventive measures, British supermarket chain Tesco has removed white toffee in the United Kingdom, China and Malaysia.
Canada Recalled of Chinese-made Nissin Foods containing Yili milk. Yili dairy meterials and products failed to pass quality inspection in Hong Kong. Canada has also expanded the range of product quality testing.
China All milk powder and liquid milk from 22 manufacturers have been removed from supermarkets and chain stores. Starbucks removeed the ingredient from the Mengniu milk. Japan Japan's food manufacturer Marudai has recalled five kinds of snack, as a result of raw materials containing milk imports from China Yili milk.
Because dairy products affected by pollution, global coffee giant Starbucks chain in China has stopped providing milk drinks. All milk have been substituted for the Soy milk imported from United States.
Because Starbucks has a cooperation with China Mengniu Dairy Co., after part dairy products of Mengniu were found to contain melamine, more than 300 Starbucks stores in China immediately disabled the milk emergently, and did't sell coffee including milk component.
According to Starbucks related sources, to find a suitable milk suppliers will take some time, so the company will substitute for Soy milk.
At the same time, Mengniu's another partner Kentucky have stopped supplying milk drink from Mengniu, and will resume sales after confirm that all batches of products in line with food safety standards.
It is reported that McDonald's did not co-operate with 22 milk companies which are in the scandal. The supply of milk and milk drinks are safe.
The World Bank recently published data showed, the latest poverty estimate for the daily income is 1.25 U.S. dollars. It is estimated that Indin's population living below the poverty estimate of the population in 2005 was 455 million, accounting for about one-third of the total population global poverty .
