IBM Invest 300 Million U.S. Dollars on Cloud Computing Data Recovery Center

IBM has announced a plans to invest 300 million U.S. dollars on the construction of 13 data center, providing data recovery, a security service.

IBM's new data center help companies to back up important documents by secure Internet connection. In the event of natural disasters or social upheaval, this backup is essential. Through the clouds for data backup technology will be more safe than backup in-house.

Michael Riegel, the vice president in charge of business continuity and flexible service said that some customers must be very concerned about the extreme weather and global instability, such as the confliction between Russia and the Georgia. This part of customers want access to such data backup services. He said that a lot of companies will be interested in this.

Riegel also said that the new data center will work to help businesses enter new markets.
