Lenovo Consider Acquisition of Shares in Fujitsu Siemens Computers

Fujitsu Siemens ComputersIn the domestic PC market suffered a downturn, Lenovo possibly make a large-scale acquisitions in order to increase market share in Europe.

Recently, it is reported that the Chinese computer manufacturer Lenovo Group is considering the acquisition of shares in Fujitsu Siemens Computers. Lenovo Group said it is considering the option to all acquire.

Siemens has been ready to withdraw from Fujitsu Siemens Computers for a long time. Fujitsu Siemens Computers' headquartered in the Maarssen, Netherlands. The company mainly operate computer manufacturing and development in a few major cities of German.

German media quoted the CEO of Lenovo Bill Amelio saying that as long as a reasonable price, it may consider various options.

German media speculated that transactions may occur in a several ways. If Siemens plans to sell its all shares or only part of the shares, Fujitsu may buy its shares and the sell its consumer business to Lenovo. Lenovo and Siemens refused to comment on this speculation.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers is European largest computer manufacturer, and its market value is about 10 billion euros.
