Lengend Mergerd with ICT

November 4, 1998, the Institute Of Computing Technology Chinese Academy Of Sciences and Lengend Group hold a reporters forum, announced the ICT would be the "Lengend Corporate Research & Development" after restructuring.

Lengend Corporate Research & Development was finally established in January 1999, became the central R & D institutions of Lengend Group.

Since its inception, the Lengend Corporate Research & Development has always been committed to promote technological progress and long-term development of the company, to provide long-lasting core competitiveness and create new profit growth point for China's information industry, to provide the driving force for innovation.

After the rename of Lengend Group, the Lengend Corporate Research & Development has also changed its name to the Lenovo Corporate Research & Development.
