August 18, China's athlete Liu Xiang quit Beijing Olympic Games men's 110 meter hurdles race. During the practice of first round match, he felt unwell prepared because of the injury on the achilles tendon of right foot. Considering he couldn't complete the race, at last, he dicided to cancel it.

Liu Xiang's cancellation must bring huge loss to NIKE, because NIKE specially spent much manpower and money to design new type of sportsware and footware. At last, Liu Xiang couldn't show NIKE's high technology products to the whole world.
