October 18 each year is World Traditional Medicine Day. This is adopted by International Congress on Traditional Medicine held in Beijing, 1991.The conference was organized by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People's Republic of China and World Health Organization. The representatives from 42 countries and regions attended the meeting.
